Stuck for a fun, colourful colour palette for your next creative project?
Here’s a little ray of sunshine to get you inspired 🙂 I love this colour palette featuring turquoise, bright yellow, pink and red.
Tell me if you didn’t look at this and automatically smile! It’s just happy!
So I’m thinking this colour inspiration needs to be used for something upbeat and positive too. It would look great as highlight colours on a crisp white blog design….
Or perfect for your own inspirational artwork – maybe you could try a slogan like live the life you love in watercolour or a graphic design. Hang it on your wall and it’d be a great way to bring a smile to your face every day!

Wow, does this colour palette pack a punch!
I love this photo (from NoDiceNada) – I can just feel the heat and the sound of drums beating near by… Don’t you just want to be there? This has to be the perfect colour inspiration for an upbeat creative project!
It’s strange that when you single out each individual colour you can’t quite get the impact of the original image, produced by the various tones of each colour… still, I love the colour palette and can imagine this coming to life in graphic design.
As always, here’s the DMC colour palette if you want to do some stitching…

For me this image brings to mind the feeling of layers of rich, luxurious fabrics, that you want to be wrapped up in on a special occasion on a cold winters day… So this colour inspiration is perfect for those of you experiencing the deep winter…
This is actually a photo of a stunning scarf from Mary Katrantzou
(yes, if you hurry you can even own it… well if you’re feeling wealthy anyway)…
I think this is a killer winter palette and obviously translates to fabric well, so great for a sewing project. You could even source a few printed fabrics using these colour combinations and build a panelled scarf of your own, or maybe a little panelled clutch bag or zip purse…
I can also imagine these colours in a stunning Otomi inspired cushion… or maybe Suzani inspired… #feelinginspired
